Eco-Friendly Shoppers Reusable Shopping Bags

Ok, I admit that I am not nearly as eco-friendly as I would like to be. Reusable shopping bags are just about the easiest way to begin. These bags are $30 for a set of four that can be easily compacted into a glove compartment, pocket, or any small space. They apparently carry up to $50 of groceries not sure what that equals in weight of groceries, but it sounds like enough. What I like about these bags, you can pick $5 of the cost to go to any of 4 charities, including Surfrider (one of my personal favorites).

Weekend Wrap Up

Phew...this weekend was crazy, it started on a crazy tear and never stopped. Good news, Rocky, is going to rescue. I took him to get groomed, and worked all day Saturday to find him a home and success, Australian Shepherd Rescue & Placement Helpline (ARPH) is taking him into their rescue. Rocky’s foster family has also been absolutely amazing, so thank you to them too. If anyone is interested in him, he should be available through ARPH in about a month, he needs to undergo treatment for his thyroid condition first. Also thank you to PetSmart for grooming him for free!! Anyway, I am working on some projects, so please excuse me for a bit of slow posting this week. In the meantime, please check out Birdie 1973 over at Etsy, what beautiful work!!
