Arts & Crafts Here I Come!

I am in love with this necklace however it's $38 bucks and after seeing it in person, I know I can make it.....so that's the project of the weekend....here goes nothin! I'll be sure to post the results.

Mural Arts Program

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to reach out to some of Philadelphia's children and participate in a playground build. I worked on the mural section of the playground with the great people from Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program. I was inspired by the children and the Mural Arts employees and volunteers. The programs goal is to work in partnership with the community, grassroots organizations, schools, philanthropies and city agencies to create murals that reflect the community's culture, history and vision. They also support young artists in the communities in Philadelphia and use the power of art to inspire.
