Shopping Roundup

I've been doing some shopping lately, and had the chance to check out the new Zac Posen line for Target. My local Target is pretty small, and Target does markdowns by store, thus my Target marked down all the Liberty of London to make room for Posen (note Liberty is NOT marked down online). Anyway, the Zac Posen collection was...... average, there wasn't a lot of selection, I tried on several pieces without much luck until I tried the brocade tie dress. Yes, it's pricey at $75 but exceptionally well made and very flattering. That was really my only take away from the collection, kind of disappointing.
I also stopped by Loehmans. They have been offering American Apparel since the holidays, but I finally purchased a couple of pieces I couldn't justify splurging on @ American Apparel.
Le Sac Dress for $16.99; perfect for upcoming Caribbean vacation and the Poplin Cross Front Dress, also $16.99. For those of you familiar with AA, those dresses are usually around $4o, so great deals!!

PANDAMONIUM!

Lilly Pulitzer has created a limited edition print to benefit World Wildlife Fund. This print will be sold on a collection of styles in the Spring 2010 line.

For 45 years the World Wildlife Fund has worked towards the protection of endangered species, and the panda has been the logo for WWF since it was founded in 1961. Lilly has designed a print that is bound to be a collector’s item… black and white Lilly pandas intermingled with the WWF logo panda…many with hot pink flowers tucked behind their ears.

A great way to look chic and protect these endangered animals. Lilly Pulitzer donates 10% of net sales from all items in the Pandamonium print to WWF.

Trey Speegle

Artist Trey Speegle known for his paint by number creations combined with witty use of everyday text. His commercial meets fine art pieces have multiple layers of meaning and certainly are a great conversation starter. I came across a print of his on 20x200 for a very affordable price! Prints range from $20-$200.
