New York Fashion Week has kicked-off to a great start and although I'm watching via live streaming, the coverage is great and I'm loving what I see. Thus far the minimalistic, lace and draped looks are trending throughout. Admittedly I'm most excited to see that the majority of these looks are wearable. Excited to post about the shows to come but here are some of my favorites right now.

Valerie K is a California based jewelry designer has taken her breathtaking nature inspired, organic designs to etsy. It's always a treat to find unique designs that are very reasonably priced.
Something about the California chic outdoor fire-pit scene totally inspires me. Not sure if this mod outdoor fireplace would work for my house but I absolutely love it! Modfire retails for $595 and shipping is free until Valentine's Day!
As I sit here cloaked in layers with the heat blasting, I can only dream of Spring. Although the Spring weather is weeks away the Spring 2011 collections are rolling out! One of the first to catch my eye was Frock by Tracy Reese. The bright and charming collection features Spring colors on effortless, modern shapes. Another reason to long for Spring....
Isabel Toledo is known for her whimsical designs and keen understanding of fit and garment construction. Her iconic pieces have been worn by everyone from first ladies to movie stars (she designed the lemongrass yellow shift dress Michelle Obama wore to the inauguration). Toledo is showcasing her amazing talents at Payless with a unique collection of affordable, fashion forward pieces. The Vamp Sandal (shown) is a must have, the price is a little high for Payless at $45 but the quality is good and the design is fabulous!
